Lending Portfolio Manager - An Exciting Step Forward!
We are so pleased to announce the creation of a new position, Lending Portfolio Manager. This member-focused role will oversee and improve on our loan portfolio while ensuring the financial needs of our members are met. In addition to supporting YOU, our members, this role strengthens our commitment to responsible lending and plays a key part in driving the credit union’s growth.
Holger Cordero has joined Serve Credit Union as our first-ever Lending Portfolio Manager. Cordero brings a combined 14 years of experience in the credit union and financial services industry. He is well positioned to lead Serve CU into this exciting new chapter of growth and member impact. Outside of work, Holger is a devoted family man to his wife and three children. He enjoys vacationing to Ecuador to visit family, and if you want to spark a lively conversation, just mention cars - specifically JDM vehicles.
“We are thrilled to welcome this new role to Serve Credit Union,” said Serve Credit Union CEO Jami Weems. “The Lending Portfolio Manager will play a vital role in helping us better serve our members by guaranteeing our lending services are strong, responsible, and tailored to their needs. This position is an important part of our growth, while continuing to put our members first.”
As Lending Portfolio Manager, Cordero will oversee the health and performance of our entire loan portfolio, lead efforts to identify and mitigate risk, collaborate with the team to develop new lending products, and ensure that all lending activities are aligned with our mission and regulatory best practices.
