Online Banking First Time Enrollment

First Time Enrollment
1. Select "First Time User" Option available in both the desktop login box and the Serve Credit Union Mobile app login screen
2. Have the following credentials ready: First/Last Name, Member #, SSN, Zip Code, DOB, Email Address
3. Create your login: Username, Password, Security Questions, Device Registration, MultiFactor Authentication, Face ID, Fingerprint

Estatement

 Account Estatement:

Account Statement - You will be prompted upon initial login to enroll in Estatements. We recommend doing so to receive your statements electronically in a fraction of the time it takes to receive in the mail!

  • If you choose to enroll at any other time, do so by selecting Menu > Email Settings > Select Email > Select Statements > Submit.

 

Credit Card Estatement:

Credit Card Statement - Select Card Management in the menu under Services and enroll your credit card. Once enrolled, select Statements in the side bar and continue through the Estatement Enrollment prompts


Transfers

Serve CU to Serve CU Transfer:

Move your own money by enabling a scheduled or one-time transfer between:

  • Serve CU to Serve CU Account (including loans) within your own membership and any other accounts your Social Security Number is attached to by selecting from the “Transfer To/From” drop-downs.

 

External Financial Institution:

Move your own money by enabling a scheduled or one-time transfer between:


Check Balances

Balance Summary

View all of your Balances on the Summary page, organized by Share, Loans, and Certificates

 

Daily Balances and Transactions

Select any sub account to view daily balances and interact with transactions

 

Balances on other Accounts

Toggle to any other accounts that your Social Security Number is on! Some common examples are:

  • Joint Owner on spouse or child’s membership

  • Co-Signer on spouse or child’s loan

  • Authorized Signer on a business or organization

Please note: If you are unable to toggle, a team member will need to enable this change for you

Card Management

How to Enroll your Debit and Credit Cards

  1. Log into Online Banking or the Serve Credit Union Mobile App, select Services in the menu, and click “Card Management”

  2. Have your debit and credit cards ready and follow the enrollment prompts

Bill Pay

Enrollment

After establishing a Serve CU Checking Account, enroll by clicking on Bill Pay in the menu inside Online Banking. Please note enrollment must be done in a web-based environment.

  • Once enrolled, you can access Bill Pay via the Serve Credit Union Mobile App.

  • Assistance regarding Bill Pay: use the chat feature available on the bill pay site or call (866) 321-6569.

 

What can bill pay do?

  • Pay anyone!

  • Automatically schedule one-time or recurring payments up to a year in advance (limited to U.S.).

  • Transfer funds from your SCU account to another financial institution.

  • Set up e-Alerts to remind you when bills are due.

 

Bill Pay daily limitations:

  • If payee is a business: max limit of $6,000 per day/per transaction

  • If payee is a person: max limit of $2,500 per day/per transaction

  • If payee is an account at another financial institution: max limit of $2,500 per day/per transaction

Remote Deposit Capture (RDC)

Request Enrollment:

A convenient way to deposit your check is by taking a picture from the app!

A member of SCU will review your membership before approving or denying your request. Thank you!

 

Endorsements and Limits

Endorsements

  • The check must be properly endorsed by all parties on the check.

  • The back of the check must indicate “for Mobile Deposit at Serve CU” or the “for Mobile Deposit” box must be checked.

Limits

  • Max Amount per deposit: $3,000

  • Max Daily Amount: $3,000

  • Max Deposits per Day: 5

  • Max Total within 30-Day Cycle: $10,000


App Communications

Account Notifications:

In your Serve Credit Union Mobile App, enable Notifications in your menu to alert you on certain actions taken on your savings, checking, loans, and more! Click here for a quick Push Notifications tutorial video.

 

Secure Messaging:

In your Serve Credit Union Mobile App, under Services, Secure Messaging allows you to securely communicate with Serve Credit Union through a more secure portal than email or text. Documents can be shared back and forth, as well as storing Your Digital Membership Card. Click here to request a Digital Membership Card to be loaded into your secure messaging. 

 

Debit/Credit Card Transaction Alerts

In your Serve CU Cards App-select Menu and Notification Settings to set up custom transaction alerts.

Lock/Unlock Cards

How To

In your Serve CU Cards App -click the “lock” and “unlock” icon on your enrolled cards to manage usage if temporarily misplaced. 

 

When to lock/Unlock

The most common practice would be if your card has been temporarily misplaced. But this feature is completely under your control, and is instant! Feel free to utilize this feature whenever you want to keep your cards from being used!


Digital Wallets/Issuance

Digital Wallets

Serve CU Cards App -  Click the “Add to Wallet” icon underneath your card image and follow the prompts to load your cards to your digital wallet. Our cards are compatible with Apple, Google, Samsung, and Garmin Pay.

 

Digital Issuance

Credit Cards Only - Serve CU Cards App - Avoid waiting for a replacement card in the mail by Initiating “Lost/Stolen” in the Serve CU Cards App and receive a digital card straight to the app to load to your preferred Digital Wallet.
